National Black Business Month - Highlighting Mac-O-Licious!!

Who doesn't like macaroni and cheese? That phrase was boldly proclaimed on CNBC's Restaurant Startup by local entrepreneur and VEDC/WBC client Kelly Chapman. Since launching a food truck in 2012, Chapman's cheesy comfort food has received nationwide notoriety. Whether you prefer a Southern Baked Casserole, or a Stovetop Creamy style, mac-O-licious "your grandmothers mac'n'cheese and more" has a variety that will please your palate. Add a side of Pot Roast or BBQ Chicken and Cornbread and you have a Lunch Combo.

Beyond serving Southern Dishes with a smile, Chapman smiles as she talks about her other purpose. "We feed the homeless in partnership with LA Family Housing. Plus, we have fed over 20K low income individuals via the Kelly Chapman Ministries Mobile Pantry, funded by mac-O-licious.

Doing good in the community is also evident in her recruitment approach. Having been an executive in Diversity previously, I have a passion for multi-cultural work teams. I hired 9 people of varied ethnic backgrounds, many of whom were unemployed previously. I also hired homeless employees, and even someone in a Sober Living program. All have come together as a team to create a unique experience that customers enjoy.

Mac-O-licious offers dine-in, carry out, delivery, and nationwide shipping. Contact them for catering also: weddings and events, film shoots, and corporate lunches.
